We’ve recently been colaborating with Daniel Klein of Port City Amplification on the design of a new amp he will be releasing in early 2009. Port City Amplification has released a line of hand-made boutique guitar amplifiers, made right here in Wilmington, NC. I’ve personally had the pleasure of experiencing the Dual 50 which is hands down one of the best guitar amplifiers I’ve ever played through. Daniel’s amps are point to point hand wired with the highest quality components and that is reflected 100% in the tone you get out of these monsters. We’re really stoked here at Waveminded Studios to be working with such a master craftsman of the music industry.
Here at Waveminded Studios we made a decision late last year to focus our experience and talents in web design and marketing towards businesses, people and organizations that promote a sustainable future, aka ‘Sustainable Web Design’. As the new year roled in we thought it would be a great time to make our a resolution to be fully committed to this endeavor.
Keep a watch for our new company site (in the works). Which will, honestly, be pushing the edge on web design from the design side and programming side… We have some serious tricks up our sleeves.
The Foreign Exchange: Leave It All Behind album was released for download on iTunes today. In our opinion this album revisits a concept that may not be as prevelant in the music industry as it used to… SOUL! And it has a ton of it.
Leave It All Behind is overflowing with slick vocal harmonies, memorable beats and extremely well developed backing music. This is not your typical album as we can’t seem to find a genre for it. It’s located in the R&B / Soul genre on iTunes, but you’ll find a subtleites of jazzy chord changes, latin rhythms, pop, hip-hop, lounge and the list goes on.
Waveminded Studios provides marketing and web design consultation to Nicolay of the Foreign Exchange.
